An account of the fight, on 5th May 1675, between on the one hand (Christopher) Bannester, his servant and Richard Assheton and on the other the three Slater brothers, two of whom were killed. They were the sons of Sir Henry Slater of ?Light Oakes? of Bedford, Leigh. Richard Assheton was later murdered in London.
