Concise account. The parish of St Ann began when the Rector of St Paul's church, Warrington began weekly evening services in a former nonconformist chapel in 1859. The new church was consecrated in 1869. It closed late in 1995 ( and was converted into an indoor rock climbing centre ). A new building was eventually opened in 2000. Contains a selection of images, including an architect's drawing of the original church and a photograph of the new St. Ann's in 2000.
